The story behind the Bally Rolling Stones pinball machine
It's only rock-'n-roll. But we like it!
Ah, the Stones… What more is there to say?
Quite a lot, actually. We’re pretty proud of this retro gem in our rental collection. Whether you’re a lifelong Stones fan, love the pure joy of old-school pinball or are looking for the ultimate conversation piece for your event: our Bally Rolling Stones delivers. And then some.
The Rolling Stones pinball machine was released in 1980 to celebrate Emotional Rescue, the album by Mick, Charlie, Ronnie, Keith and Bill. Right when the legendary band was riding high and Bally was in its golden age.
Oddly enough, this pinball machine is remarkably hard to find. Let alone one in the kind of original condition that makes fans drool. Like ours.
Pure nostalgia. Ready for your event.
Under the hood, we’ve given our Rolling Stones pinball machine a few modern upgrades, including energy-efficient LED lighting, to help it outlast even the band itself. Of course, we’ve made sure it hasn’t lost an ounce of its gorgeous retro charm.
Our Rolling Stones plays just as well as it did when it rolled off Bally’s production line almost half a century ago. A time machine that effortlessly takes you back to when life was a little less complicated.
Want to give your guests a truly unique experience? One that takes them back to the good old days with a huge grin on their faces? Look no further. Our Rolling Stones does all that. And more.
An exceptionally rare prototype playfield
The colourful playfield on our Rolling Stones is an exceptionally rare prototype. Instead of traditional wood, it was made from a special resin.
It was part of an experiment Bally ran in case supplies of high-quality wood ever dried up (which, thankfully, never happened).
Only a handful of Rolling Stones playfields made from this unusual material are known to exist worldwide.
And the best part? Unlike an old wooden playfield, ours still looks as good as new!
