The playfield layout of Jack•Bot is almost identical to that of the popular Pin•Bot pinball machine. And for good reason: it’s a tribute to Joe Joos Jr., the designer of the iconic moving visor, who passed away far too soon.

His colleagues Larry DeMar and John Youssi decided to honor him by bringing that spectacular mechanism back to life in Jack•Bot.

Since the playfield layout already existed, they could fully focus on creating brilliant rules and phenomenal artwork. And they nailed it. A beautiful tribute, in every way.
